Tracing your Family Tree

1841 Tracing Package We will trace ancestors (where possible) back to 1841 through the census. You will receive all the   information in a printed Word document or by email. There is an additional charge for any copies of certificates of Birth, Marriage and Death.

Documented 1841 Package Information as above but you will receive all the documentation printed on high quality paper and presented in a binder. This includes Kinship Reports showing an individuals lineage.

Pre 1841 Research   You can tell us how far you want to try and go back into your ancestry   or we can go back as far as possible. This involves further research into local records.

Ad Hoc Research/ Individuals We can research into a particular individual, family or area for you.   The charge will be £20 per hour of research. We can write up all information on each individual into a small printed pamphlet and print out all census information and copy original census entries for you at an additional   cost of £20 per person

Drawing up the Family Tree on paper

You may have researched the information but not yet committed it to paper or drawn a tree -You can send us your information and we will create the tree from scratch for you. You may wish to update or reprint a family tree which is only paper based -You can send us your existing paper based Family Tree and we will     produce it   in electronic format for you. We can also produce a a professionally printed tree. We will produce the tree using our software. We can then send you the file by email if you only require an electronic copy. We also supply software so you can view the tree using your PC, and add to the tree in future. See our Software page for details of the packages you can buy.

CD Rom

We can provide a CD-ROM of the information contained surrounding your Family Tree. Please ask for details. This is an alternative to the binder.

Software

We supply Family Tree Maker Software. This will allow you to view and edit the Family Tree as prepared by us and to make any later additions if necessary.

Certificates

If you wish to acquire the Birth, Death or Marriage certificate of an individual, we can order and send it to you. The cost is £10 per certificate. Cost of certificate plus postage.
